Gutta Resist is used to draw the borders of an image on silk, stopping the flow of the dye beyond the resist lines. Gutta Solvent thins the consistency of Gutta Resist and is also used to clean metal tips. A soft, plastic Gutta squeeze bottle (1/2 oz.) is available for applying resist or fabric paints (also useful for glue in craft use). There are metal dispenser tips for applying resist lines to be used with the applicator squeeze bottle. No Flow is a starch-like fluid to be applied to the fabric before painting to keep the dye from flowing. It is particularly useful for fine designs with a brush or fabric pen and may be used on an entire piece or a specific area. It dries clear and rinses out in warm water.
