A versatile medium for use with artists' oil colors.
Res-N-Gel is a full strength, ready-to-use, synthetic resin gel. Formulated to increase painting facility. Res-N-Gel may be used as is or thinned with Turpenoid or turpentine.
When used with oil colors, it gives a buttery brush response, prevents colors from running, retains character of brushstrokes, holds sharply defined detail, adds luminosity and brilliance to colors, and accelerates drying.
Ideal for wet-in-wet painting, as oil colors mixed with Res-N-Gel do not fuse with wet paint. An excellent medium for painting with either brush or palette knife to create a full range of impasto, opaque, translucent and glazed effects.
