Princeton Catalyst Blade 30mm #01 Catalyst Blades are part brush, part palette knife, featuring flexible silicone blades mounted on artist brush handles. The silicone blades are designed for use with heavy-bodied paints, like oils, acrylics, water-miscible oils, and encaustics (they are heat-resistant!). They can also be used for plaster, clay and even cake frosting (they are made with FDA-approved silicone so they are safe for food!). The silicone blades are easy to wipe clean and are solvent resistant, they can be separated from their wood handles for cleaning and easily replaced when dry, or dried paint can be simply peeled off of the silicone surface.
