Gamblin Etching Ink Graphite 1lb

Graphite Etching Ink is a gray black that works well for etching, drypoint, aquatint, and mezzoting, however, it needs additives to work well for engraving.

Pigment: Natural Graphite

Wiping: Easy

Plate Tone*: Heavy

*Plate Tone refers to the toning or shading that can be achieved by leaving a thin layer of ink on the surface of the plate during printing, creating a look similar to a wash in watercolor.
