Simply stroke your brush across the coil exposing the remaining oil color in the brush to your choice of cleaning fluid. The paint will settle to the bottom of the jar. The smooth coil screen protects bristles from splitting, unlike other brush washers with wire or perforated screens. To clean acrylics and watercolors out of brushes, you do not need cleaning fluid.
